Strategic Partnership for Stratford-upon-Avon: Working Together to Deliver the Town Centre Vision
The Stratford-upon-Avon Town Centre Strategic Partnership was established following the adoption of the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP), which was produced over several years and approved by referendum in November 2018. One of the key recommendations of the NDP was to form a Town Centre Strategic Partnership — a forum bringing together representatives from the public, private and voluntary sectors to consider the town’s future. The Partnership is facilitated by the Town Council.
New Structure
During 2026, the Strategic Partnership reviewed its way of working and agreed that a change was needed to improve progress and delivery, while retaining the strong collaborative relationships already established.
The new structure will provide stronger senior leadership through a Steering Panel, supported by wider stakeholder involvement through dedicated Delivery Groups. This will enable greater community and organisational input, while providing a clearer focus on priorities, actions and delivery.

The structure also allows for time-limited groups to be established where needed to progress specific priorities.
