Steve Albon

Liberal Democrat since 2024.

Steve was elected to the Town Council in July 2024.

Community Interests

Steve recently retired after a satisfying lifetime in education and voluntary youth work as teacher, governor and school leader and he is  keen to use his considerable expertise to develop and improve youth facilities and youth involvement across the town. A keen cyclist, he aims to encourage a planned expansion of active transport for people especially as a prerequisite to the expanding areas of housing that will inevitably be needed in Stratford. He has a deep interest in mental health and he plans to use his experience as a trainer for Samaritans volunteers to improve a raise awareness of health provision in this area
