Community Interests

Gill was elected to the Town Council in 2019 and served as Mayor from 2022/2023. She contributes to a range of local organisations and was closely involved in helping get Stratford Youth Hub up and running. As CEO of VASA, she leads a community transport and wellbeing charity working across Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick, Rugby, and Solihull. Alongside her work as a Town Councillor, she is Chair of Trustees for Rother Street Arts House and was a Trustee with Stratford Town Trust for 6 years. She represents the Town Council on the CCTV Forum and Stratfords of the World. Gill works across the third sector on community wellbeing, collaboration, and local resilience.
