We are a Symbol-Friendly Organisation

We’re proud to be the first Town Council in the UK to begin the journey towards being a symbol friendly organisation!

Our first steps have been to introduce signage at the Town Hall to help make the Town Hall more accessible and a welcome place for everyone in our community, especially people with learning disabilities, autistic people and those with speech, language and communication needs.

This step is part of our wider commitment to inclusion, ensuring that more residents can understand, engage with and feel confident accessing local services and information.
