Information about vacancies in the town council
The Town Council is looking to recruit a Mace-Bearer to join the civic team.
A Mace-Bearer upholds the town’s civic traditions, carrying and caring for the Mace – the symbol of the Mayor’s authority for all official functions and ceremonies.
The post is for a fixed term of 5 years and attracts a modest honorarium of £600 per annum, paid quarterly.
